Homes and businesses come in many architectural creations, so not every home or light commercial inspection is exactly alike. However, inSPECHTions will always perform a visual, non-invasive inspection of your business and/or home’s essential components.

Using the latest iOS technology, we provide a comprehensive report and complete inspections onsite. This gives us a fast turnaround time and allows us to send digital reports to multiple recipients. These reports will be packed with not only our findings, but also digital images and video content when needed.

HOME INSPECTIONS

The areas covered during a home inspection fall under four categories.

Site + Exterior

Site + Exterior

We begin with a thorough assessment of the home’s lot and grounds. This includes the condition of the vegetation, grading, surface drainage and retaining walls, in addition to adjacent sidewalks, decks, patios and driveways. inSPECHTions also includes evaluation of the roof, gutters, exterior coverings, windows, trim, entrances (like the front door and garage) and siding. When examining items like the roof, chimney, skylights and roof penetrations, inSPECHTions uses state of the art technology. We provide a thorough investigation through drone footage. Interior

Interior

As the inspection process moves inside, we identify issues with the home’s walls and ceilings. We look for signs of water intrusion, cracks or other potential issues. Additionally, the home’s doors--as well as any fireplaces and built-in appliances--are inspected. As a Certified Residential Thermographer company, we are able to utilize Infrared Thermal Imaging. An infrared camera produces images of invisible infrared--or heat radiation--which provides us with exact temperature measurements. Because thermal energy is not visible to the human eye, this adds another layer to the detailed condition of your home. Structural Components

Structural Components

Your home’s structural components include its foundation, floor/slab, framing, crawlspace and attic. Some of the issues we look for are signs of water penetration in the foundation, integrity of flooring and slab, insulation in the attic and the condition of moisture in the crawlspace. All visible areas of these structures are thoroughly examined for safety, integrity and quality of workmanship.

Major Systems

Major Systems

All accessible portions of the home’s major systems are inspected in their entirety, including HVAC and plumbing. Using an infrared thermal camera, major systems are inspected, such as the furnace, A/C unit, ductwork, water heater, plumbing fixtures and hot/cold water supply. We'll carefully evaluate the home’s electrical system--including the electrical service entrance and panel--as well as electrical circuits and outlets.
